Why is my email address not shown on the Find Musicians results page?
This is something I decided to do to protect members from SPAM (unsolicited bulk email). On the Find Musicians results page, you'll see a link beside your name labeled "Contact Me". This will allow the person contacting you to enter their own contact details and a message to send to you. The SessionNetwork server will then send an email to you on their behalf. After that, it's up to you to get back to them!
Why is there no box for me to put in my phone number?
This is a privacy issue. I take the privacy of member's personal details very seriously, and I didn't want people to feel as though they had to enter their phone number in order to register on SessionNetwork.com. That said, some members mentioned that they would like to have their numbers listed in case they were needed for a gig in a hurry. I am considering adding an optional field for phone number in the Profile, but for now if you wish, you can simply add your number in the comment box (the one labeled "Tell us a little about yourself").

Email me at info@sessionnetwork.com! This site exists for you, the musicians. If there is something you'd like to see, let us know about it! If there are any articles or events you'd like to submit, please write them up and email them in. As with all content-based websites, all submissions must be approved before posting, so get yours in as early as possible!

I see the site is only for musicians in Ireland. Would you consider doing it for other countries too?
Anything's possible! However, the site is in the very early stages and I want to see how it gets on in Ireland first. If it turns out to be successful, and a valuable resource to musicians, I might consider going international with the it.

Of course you can! If you look at the instrument list, you'll see "vocals" listed as an instrument type. It made more sense for the sake of simplicity to just consider voice as a type of instrument.
I want to create a profile on SessionNetwok.com, but my instrument / style isn't on the list. What can I do?
I've tried to make the lists as comprehensive as possible, but if you find something missing, please email me at info@sessionnetwork.com. Your instrument or style can then be added.
